Douglasville, GA – Roll-up door manufacturer DBCI announced that on October 29 its Chandler, AZ manufacturing facility completed its fifth consecutive year without a single recordable injury. The milestone means all three DBCI manufacturing facilities have operated for over five years without an accident – a total of over 1.3 million man hours worked.
DBCI’s two other locations (Texas and Georgia) both surpassed the six year mark in 2014. Johnathan Crews, plant manager for the Texas facility which celebrated six years on October 21st, credits company culture for the program’s success. “Every one of our employees, across all levels of the organization, has made a total commitment to communication, training, and engagement,” he says.
DBCI is a leading designer and manufacturer of commercial-grade steel roll-up doors and self storage solutions. Headquartered in Douglasville, Georgia, DBCI also operates production facilities in Houston and Chandler, Arizona.
