Quarterly Update

As we close the first quarter, DBCI is pleased with our progress and focus on operational excellence while aggressively driving initiatives that will benefit you in the long-term. Some of these activities include the Voice of the Customer (VOC) program, an enhanced focus on product development and improved contractor relationships.

INCORPORATING YOUR FEEDBACK

Throughout the year, you will continue to see the benefits of the work we're doing in our VOC program, which we initiated at the end of 2018. We appreciate your continued participation in the program, which allows you to provide feedback on our performance and permits us to focus our efforts on the issues that you care most about.

Keeping you and the industry insights in mind, we recently completed a brand update. You can now see our new messaging and design embedded across all DBCI materials which allows us to demonstrate our value-adding solutions. 

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Developing and continuously improving the products we provide to you remains a focus for DBCI. Earlier the month, we shared new enhancements to our swing and locker doors at the Inside Self-Storage Expo and sought feedback to help us ensure these products meet our customers' needs before we make them available. Design enhancements made to these doors create: 

  • better alignment within the door frame
  • proper distribution of the weight of the door among the hinges

These improvements result in a more durable door that's easier to install and that creates less wear on the door components. Stay tuned to our communications to be the first to know when we launch these improved products!

In addition to our continuous improvement activities, we also continue to look at new product development and innovation opportunities. We invite you to join us at one of our upcoming events to visit with our dedicated team of experts and see the new items we have been working on.

PARTNERSHIPS

We know that the installation of our products can make or break your experience with DBCI. To better support your installation needs, we have formed new partnerships with regional installation contractors who you can rely on. The benefits of these installer partnerships include:

  • Certified and dedicated installers who know our DBCI products and deliver high quality installation on time
  • Regional deployment of installation crews to ensure project sites are adequately and efficiently resourced
  • DBCI supervision on all projects through Regional Superintendents who oversee installation 

We plan to continue building additional installation partnerships as we grow, and are committed to delivering the same level of service you expect regardless of our size.
