How to Use the Wind Load Calculator
The information obtained in the following spreadsheet will allow for better calculations to determine if the design pressure for a particular door size and series meets the specified requirements. Once of all the information is entered, the spreadsheet will automatically calculate the design pressure. The computed design should be equal to or less than the design pressure listed on the detailed drawing for that particular series. The various design pressure for DBCI doors can be found on page 2 of the detail drawing for each series.
